Guava smoothie


Guava (Psidium guajava) is a tropical fruit with a wide range of health benefits. Originally found in South America, this fruit was presumably brought to India by the Portuguese and the rest is history. The fruit is rich with antioxidants for glowing skin, vitamin C to boost immunity, and lycopene to improve your vision. It is a great source of fiber that can lower bad cholesterol. Go green, go guava!

Ingredients:

  • 10 pcs frozen ripe guavas or pink guavas washed and cut in half
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ cup of non-dairy milk
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice-cream

 

Procedure:

  1. Combine the guava juice, non-dairy milk, and vanilla ice-cream and blend in a blender till the mixture is smooth and frothy.
  2. Add the honey until the exact sweetness is achieved.
  3. Pour and serve!
