Deep-Fried Fish Fillet


Frying fish is known in Spain and Portugal as Pescado Frito. It is very light, can be great for your diet, and it’s easy to make. You can also pair it with some chips, french fries, or wedges.

Ingredients:

  • 500 gram Fish fillet
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Flour Batter:

  • 4 tbsp plain flour
  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • ½ tsp salt

Procedure:

  1. Take a fish, dry it with a tissue. Add salt, black pepper, and mix it well. Marinate for 15 mins.
  2. In a bowl, add plain flour, cornflour, baking powder, chili sauce, vinegar, salt, red chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, and water as required & mix it well to make a liquid consistency paste.
  3. Let it rest for 30 mins.
  4. Let it rest for 30 mins. Fish dip in plain flour, then dip in liquid batter, again coat it well in plain flour.
  5. Deep fry in medium hot oil at medium flame until golden brown. Once done, transfer the fish
