Mozzarella sticks originated in France and it was very famous in Asia too. You can enjoy this dish at any time! It’s very easy to prepare and even budget-friendly that can turn into a very delicious snack for everybody!
- 1 brick of mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp salt
- 300 grams breadcrumbs
- Cut the mozzarella cheese into sticks about 2 centimeters thick at the end, they will be the size of an index finger.
- Beat the egg into a deep plate and add a pinch of salt then coat the cheese stick with egg and breadcrumbs. Then coat again with egg and breadcrumbs then set aside. Do it again on the remaining cheese sticks with the same process. Then once all of the sticks are breaded refrigerate it for an hour or two.
- After an hour, preheat a pan with 2 inches of vegetable oil until it’s ready. Fry the cheese sticks until the breadcrumbs turn into golden brown then quickly remove from the pan and transfer into the wire rack and let it cool for 10 minutes to also remove the excess oil. Do it to the rest of the cheese sticks. Then it’s ready!
