Durable, beautiful, and healthy everyday pan/stew pot
I recently devoted an entire day to trying to find a pot/pan set that would fit our needs, be durable, beautiful, healthy (I've heard really horrible things about the non-stick) and stumbled across your "AVACRAFT 18/10 Stainless Steel Everyday Pan with Tri-Ply Base, Chef’s Pan with Glass Lid, Silicone Coated Ergonomic Loop Handle" that we can also use both on the stove-top and on an induction burner. I tried it out with an induction burner I purchased at the same time and absolutely love it. It's the perfect size to replace a pot with lid and skillet with one streamlined option. I can't wait to get more for the rest of my healthy-cooking-class teachers.

Sturdy, attractive, great value
I was looking for a mid-size sauce pan and ordered this because the price and reviews were good. It is a little smaller than I really wanted but that is because I failed to look at the size of pan that I had to determine what I needed. The pan is sturdy and attractive.

Loving This Pan
I wish that AVACRAFT sold more sizes of this pan because it is amazing! I've found myself looking for sauces and such that I can cook in this. I haven't used the lid very much so far, but I love that it has the option to use it as a strainer. I'll admit that I'm not the best cook and some stuff has burnt/boiled over on my watch, but since the pan is stainless steel instead of non-stick, I've just been able to soak and use steel wool to get rid of everything.

Excellent for cooking!
The main quality these pans have is their sensitivity to heat. They heat quickly (and evenly) so I can control the cooking much more precisely. I have used non-stick cookware for years, and I am transitioning back to stainless steel w/aluminum core. My non-stick cookware heated about the same no matter how high or low I set the stove. Not so these! I actually burned the butter (in less than 8 seconds) the first time I used these. Chagrined over the loss of a little butter, but I am thrilled that the pans are that responsive--I simply wiped out the pans, added more butter and turned the stove way down. They worked perfectly! I look forward to browning chicken in these, and quickly sauteing mushrooms, mirepoix and much more!

Love it, just give it a try!
I have a set of Saladmaster cookware that I’ve used for 23 years so it’s hard to impress me with other pots and pans. That said, I was looking for a smaller pan for omelettes and thought I’d take a chance on this Avacraft 8” and I’m glad I did. It’s not as heavy as my Saladmaster so it cooks things a bit faster, but it cooks evenly and nothing was left to cleanup. Just used a little coconut oil to season it when I got it and it performs like it’s non-stick! The lid is an added bonus. Highly recommend.

Fantastic, Sleek, Nondrip, Multifunctional Carafe
Love the shape and smooth lines of this carafe. SO APPRECIATE the nondrip functionality - of great importance to me (I use these for cooking oils). Great price! Looks fantastic when out on countertop. I will buy more! Thank you!

  1. Jade

    Works great

    Great product

  2. d d

    Great pot

Needed a spout for making large quantity of hot tea and this works perfectly. Nice feel to handle and easy pour.

  3. ellen watson

    Great cookware

Very nice cookware. Sturdy and I’m sure will hold up for a long time. Bonus is the pouring and colander feature.

  4. Maria Temchin

    Great saucepan

I am pretty impressed with the product so far. It compares quite favorably to similar products of this kind. Nice and aesthetically pleasing, fast delivery.

  5. Cindy

    Nice quality pot

This 3.5-qt. pot is just the size I needed. It’s a good quality stainless, the lid is really nice with the strainer feature, and the pot handle doesn’t get hot. Best of all, it works great on my induction stove!

  6. Brindel Griss

    Awesome pot

I used this item for my candy apples and worked out great for me.

  7. HappyTrader

Excellent – except for one small issue

This saucepan is perfect in every way I wanted. The extra volume is ideal. It heats quickly on my gas range. It handles well. The glass lid lets me see how things are cooking. The pour “spouts” on both sides are great. It’s not heavy but heavy enough to feel like a quality made item.

The only thing to be careful of is the somewhat sharp edge along the rim. It’s not super sharp but definitely would have been better if that edge was rolled or beaded. I noticed that immediately when I washed it. I’m sure I could cut my finger if I pressed hard enough.

    Overall, this is a keeper.

  8. Claire

    New pan

Seams to be working just fine

  9. Michele

    Really nice pot. Very useful

It’s just as expected from the image and description.

  10. Ingrid Schoen

    Simplified cooking for me!

I enjoyed using this pot! I love the lid with the strainer ability, as I used it the first time to cook ravioli and didn’t have to use a separate colander, the pot and lid were all I needed. The glass lid is exactly what I was looking for, and fits the pot perfectly! In addition, the lid’s vent hole keeps the lid in place when the contents steam.
The 3.5 quart size with it’s long stable handle is perfect for one-handed use. This is the pot I was missing in size, and is already my favorite pot to use. The pot and lid are both easy to clean as well, just give a little extra attention to where the glass portion of the lid meets the metal portion if washing by hand, the dishwasher takes care of that area with no residue.
I would definitely recommend this pot to others!

  11. fedupwithcrap

Meh-Has some nice features but Duxtop is better in my opinion for Induction stove top.

I only purchased this pan because Duxtop does not make a 3.5 Qt size. With the Duxtop, some burned on food cleans off easily but not so with this pot. I don’t burn food often but when I do, I like a pot that will release the food with a good soaking. I think this one is thinner material as it hums a bit. It takes a long time to heat water compared to the Duxtop or my cast iron pots. The good side is the strainer lid is super handy and the size is perfect when one needs something larger but not super big. I think overall, for the price, I am going to be happy and just make sure I don’t burn anything in it.

  12. bitty

    Great quality pan! Good price!

Update: I bought the 3.5 quart sauce pan with pouring spouts, I just used them cooking giblets draining them thru straining lid…omg so easy one motion done!! Easy to wash and clean! Good strong heavy quality..I look forward to purchasing more after the holidays!

I bought this pan to replace a teflon pan that was chipping..I went with stainless steel because they are easier to clean. This pan is 1great quality. I liked it so well I bought a second one. Good price easy see thru lid and measurements are marked inside…Recommended highly.

  13. Paul B.

    GREAT saucepan!! GET IT

We’ve used it twice now and just love it. We got the 3.5 qt. one and now want them all. We had been using coated black is it teflon? that was beginning to peel away and I think that when that stuff peels it is carcinogenic right? Not good. This AVACRAFT is solid stainless steel (with a thick bottom) and after cooking pasta and then mixing up the entire dish in this pan, all I did to clean it was to put a bit of water in the bottom and put the cover on tight until I did the dishes the next day. ALSO I love the little air vents that are on both sides of the glass lid. The handle is metal and I was worried that it would become really hot, but it doesn’t. Wonderful design. We’ve more recently also purchased the 1.5- and 2.5-qt as well. Nothing but FABULOUS cookware. Extremely happy with all three. DebB

  14. Joange

    Well made, very usable product

My old 6 qt. pan finally wore out. It had been my favorite for many years and I was sorry to have to move on to a new pan. I only needed the large pan so buying a whole set seemed like a waste. I read through the many reviews (all positive) and couldn’t find one for the 6 quart size. However, based on other reviews, I decided to give this one a try. I am very pleased. I use it nearly every day and find some of the features to be favorable. For instance, there is a small spout on the pan which allows liquid to be drained through the holes in the lid rim. In other words, no more balancing the lid while trying to drain. The lid and handles are padded and don’t get hot. The weight is perfect – not too heavy yet still of decent quality. I will buy other products from this company. They seem to be concerned with customer satisfaction and putting out a good quality product.

  15. MommaBird

    WONDERFUL PAN FOR $39.00

It is hard to believe that in this day & age there are still quality products for such a reasonable price. I have more cook wear then many people in are fast past world today. Also I am very picky as to the brand & quality. I happened to need the one size 3.5 sauce pan due to not being happy with the one I had. From the description & photo I purchased this Avacraft, Amazon has a great return policy if need be. All I can add is this company should be increasing their selection. I could not believe it would not be a money maker! 🙂

    Sincerely,
    Karen M. Rydzy

  16. Malika Walker

    Just the right size

I received this pan as a gift from my Granddaughter and it is exactly what I was looking for! It is perfect for a dozen hard boiled eggs and for making soups for 2 to 4. It is very easy to clean. I love it!

  17. T. Apple

    A really nice saucepan

I have had this saucepan for a several weeks now. It has very good balance and feel, not too heavy, and feels solid. So far, the lid handle seems not to get too hot under normal use, making straining safer than if the lid handle was too hot. The saucepan is a good size for most saucepan uses–not too small or too large (for me). The stainless steel is shiny and attractive.

  18. GJHigginson

    Great product

I bought this for my wife we had an old heavy 3qt pan and it was time for it to go. Fast delivery, great price and lightweight. I looked in about 3 to 4 stores and could not find one with this quality and without having to buy a complete set of pans to get one. Great product.

  19. Mr. Fish

Better than my All-Clad with just one really annoying exception.

I bought all the saucepan sizes. I like the round handle, the glass vented/strainer lid, the pour spouts, volume markings, and uniform heating due to the design of the bottom. It’s also lighter than All-Clad which makes it much easier to handle. My issue is the 3-1/2 quart saucepan which does not have an outboard handle. Three and one half quarts of anything can get pretty darn heavy. It’s downright engineering incompetence for something so basic to be overlooked or ignored. It would also be beneficial if they would eliminate the attachment seam around the bottom of the pan. Water does get in and it can drip, as well as “pop” as the water expands during heating. I can live with that only because of all the other benefits. This stuff is close to a perfect “10”, yet as is sometimes said so far away.

  20. Ed

    Love this product

This pan is the perfect size, and weight, cleans easy, and the straining feature just keeps on impressing. Very nice product and the price is right as well.

  21. Rosemary

    Very happy.

I love my new saucepot, thinking of getting another one.

  22. frenchy

    My wife loves it

I bought this pot for my wife and she just loves it.
The durability is yet unknown but the pot seems to be well built and durable.
I look at buying more pots and pans from AVACRAFT but their selection seems to be quite limited, for example I would like to buy a 12′ frying pan with lid but they do not offer any.

  23. S. Tracy

    Pleased with quality & design

I haven’t cooked in this pot yet, however I can tell by the look & weight of it, I will enjoy it. I would be shocked if I didn’t (& will update this after I’ve cooked in it). I love the glass lid with the vents on both sides for the spouts & measurements & that it is 3 1/2 qt. Arrived on time & in perfect shape. Had they had a 12in fry pan (with lid) I wld have bot that too.

  24. diane mck

    Removing orange scum

Nice ss pot, very light, good conductivity BUT difficult to remove residual scum after boiling oranges for 2 minutes. Any suggestions???

  25. Bob Allison

    High Quality

Very nice quality. Perforated sides of the lid allow for drainage of the pot or not depending on which way you turn the lid.

  26. Rebecca

    Super versatile pot

Love this pot! The size is perfect for sauces, veggies, boiling eggs and popcorn on the stovetop, in other words, just about everything.

  27. MLW66

    Money worth

Exactly the size I’m looking for. Very durable.

  28. John J. Wilson

    Excellent & Functional

As a CAD/CAM Engineer, I find the AVACRAFT Stainless Steel Saucepan to be excellently engineered, beautiful and very functional; it heats well, cleans up easily, and maintains its shiny, polished surface. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in a robust, extremely functional, yet beautiful piece of cookware.

  29. DENISE DETERLIZZI

    easy clean up

    I love these pots.
They save clean up time by allowing me to skip the colander.

  30. Helen in DC

It is exactly what I needed

This sauce pan enables me to cook vegetables with small amounts of water to ensure they are not overcooked and retain the maximum amount of nutrition. Just the right weight and shape. very reasonable.

  31. StaceyK

    Love these Pots!

I ordered two different sizes of these pots. What attracted me is the quality, the measurement markings inside, and most of all, the pour spouts on either side. I have used them for making tea and pouring it into a thermos, making pasta, and other items. They are very well made and easy to use and clean.

  32. Queenie

    Luv it!

Great buy. Even at boiling temperature the handle doesn’t get hot. Easy to clean.

  33. Wendy

Loved the double spout with strainer top!!!

I am disabled with only my left hand. It is hard enough for left handed people to find decent products, but to find a wonderful light weight, high quality pan is just great! Thanks, Wendy

  34. Kent

  35. Nerdkraft

    Wonderful piece of cookware

I like my All-clad a lot. I love this pan.
It’s great at heat distribution, cleans up easy and I love the measuring markers.

  36. Pam

    Saucepan

One of the better pans out on the market. Heat is evenly dispersed and the glass lid is great to see into. Cleans up good.

  39. Royce McDuffie

    Awsome

Liked the design, the appearance, the usefulness of the pot. It will be used almost daily. Great product. If ever I need to,replace or look for a different style pot, you will be my first choice. Thanks for great service too!!

  40. M. P. Kotcher

Update to 40 year old pots.

I like that this sauce pan is light weight. The feature that I can pour out liquid through holes in the lid is why I bought the pot.

  41. Brenda H

    Nice Saucepan

Honestly haven’t had much opportunity to use, as we just received Thursday. From what I can tell at first glance, the product appears to be well made and sturdy, without being too heavy to handle.

  42. Ehellbow

Those Alclads sure look pretty but this is my new go to

Lightweight but still solid. I used to have Alclad pans and thought they were the end all be all. After pairing down some kitchen wares for camp I started branching out. Now I mix and match with what works best. The Avacraft is light but solid with good heat distribution. The graduated sides and strainer lid and slight pour spout are fantastic. I figured out that I really loved my Alclad for the clean look of the design but used other brands more often for their equal cooking but better features. The Avacraft is my new go to.

    Everything I wanted

Love the strainer in the lid. Easy to clean. I actually had issues with the pan sent from Amazon, but their customer service was top notch, and fixed my issue right away.

  45. CA-Orsi

    Great Saucepan

Recently moved and had been wanting to replace my old cookware and was looking at top-rated saucepans and found this one. It’s reasonably priced and works well. It has a nice weight to it without being unwieldy.

  46. J. Davidson

    Great pan!

I love this pan!! Mine came a little dented, but it seemed to be from packaging and in no way impacts the way it cooks! I love love love the lid with the built in holes for draining. One side has smaller holes! So smart! The pan has a pouring spout which is also amazing! I think it washed really well. Nothing has stuck to it yet! I would absolutely buy it again. I love that it has no chemicals!

Easy to clean and use. Clocking with it in the kitchen, nothing crazy.

  49. Inna

    Great product!

Great product! I used it for everything: making pastry cream, pasta, sauces, etc. Versatility of the saucepan is amazing.

  50. Scott Roland

    Works great on induction range

I bought this saucepan because it is designed for induction cooktops. It works great in that regard. In addition, there are some nice features such as the lid that has drain holes. Makes it easy to drain water after making pasta or vegetables that need to be boiled. I also like the markings on the inside of the pan that tell me how much liquid I have put into the pan.

    Leaky lid and dark spots

This saucepan is made of light stainless steel. On first glance it looked better than some we saw in a Department store at this price. The reviews on this site were very encouraging. Unfortunately, it has some deal breaking problems.
    1) It has a vent in the glass lid, but it doesn’t really need one. The sides where the spouts are leak copious amounts of steam. Yes, I did turn the pour holes away from the spouts. None of the steam came out of the vent hole.
    2) After just one use, the bottom developed dark circular spots.

I bought a set of expensive pans (heavy stainless, copper core) 35 years ago that are still going strong. One of them I left on the stove years ago without putting water in it. It overheated badly and it left dark spots on the interior bottom. I am aware that this pan could never compete with the ones I have, but the lid should fit well enough to have the steam escape out of the vent and not out of the sides.
The dark spots that appeared after one use do not bode well for it’s future use.
We’ll have to spend at least double to get something nicer, but it’s worth it if it serves it’s purpose well for years.
    Plan on returning it.

UPDATE: AVACRAFT contacted me after reading my review. They apologized for the inconvenience and are refunding my payment. It’s rare to find a seller who acts as responsibly and as quickly as they did.
They explained that the sauce pan really isn’t meant to steam. The lid is deep to accommodate the pour spouts and can’t be made tighter. I did steam potatoes in it using a steamer stand. A good deal of the water was gone, but the potatoes were cooked.
The spots in the bottom are a mystery. The pan was used on medium heat (6 out of a 10 scale), enough to boil the water, but not on high. I’m to send a picture so they can investigate it further.
I’m very appreciative of their concern and response.
I added 2 stars because of the service AVACRAFT provided.
That being said, the fact that it doesn’t work well as a steamer should be mentioned in the description.

    Quality and versatile cookware

This is a birthday gift for my daughter and she hasn’t received it yet, but I can tell by looking at it that it is made well, very attractive cookware, and packaged perfectly! In fact, I put the same pan on “my” wish list! Highly recommended!

    Pretty Nice

Very nice sauce pan. Just wish it was Made in the USA.

  57. Mary Ann Simpson

    Works well so far

Pot works well so far. I love the design for the strainer in the lid, which can handle draining pasta or steamed veggies. However, the inside of the pot has discolored after only a couple of weeks of use. This should not happen to stainless steel.

  58. White Stone

    A value product

Recently received this pot as a gift from my husband. I love the size of the pot, the pour spouts and the strainer lid. However, I don’t feel that the heat distribution is as even as with my Revereware. You can see where the heat element pattern is coming up from the bottom of the pot on the inside. This makes it more difficult to clean.

  59. michelle schumacher

    great product

I do a lot of cooking and wanted a bigger pan to cook pasta in that doesn’t have a coated inside. perfect pan for what I most need it for.

  60. Frank Kingford

A handy saucepan for multiple uses.

    Works well for most tasks.

  61. Terri Dushanek

    Love this pan!

I am very happy with this pan. It cleans easily and cooks evenly. The lid is great with the strainer on the sides for draining. I am going to order a 5 quart pan if it is available also. This pan is great and at a good price.

  62. Aubrey

    Wonderful pan!!

I have had handles break off on two saucepans, that were not very old. This feels like a much sturdier and solid pan. I love the drain feature on the lid. I am very satisfied and will be ordering from this company again.

  63. Thu Anh Ta

    Survived an accident

Accidentally burnt it on the stove (low-medium heat) for 6 hours, then clean it out. It still works! Other than a small deformity was created at a corner of it (almost non-detectable), which honestly doesn’t interfere with how it works, it surprised me. I did have to get burnt scrub solution and spent time cleaning it out, but it saved me money and a new pot.

    A Good Buy

I like the long handle that stays cool, and the pouring spouts. The product works as it should according to the product descriptions.

  67. deborah

    Great saucepan…

Love this 3.5 quart saucepan… it is a great size and shape (8″ wide, 5″ high), the top being slightly wider allowing good visibility. The best thing is that it is so versatile, works great for everything, even steaming veggies, and the sides are high enough not to have boil overs. I appreciate that it is fairly lightweight but still great quality. It is made by a small hands-on company with amazing customer service… I was a little disappointed it is manufactured in China, but all their other operations are USA based, and they say they have very strict quality control over the manufacturing. I tried and returned several other pans and this one is just the right combination of everything… I highly recommend it!

    Wonderful company, great pot

I recently got an induction range and am having to say goodbye to dearly loved pots that don’t respond to induction. That was the case with the pot I replaced with this pot from Avacraft. It is lighter than the pot it replaced, but easy on my wrists and works perfectly on my new stove. I made applesauce and nothing burned. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Perfect in every way!

GREAT 3.5 Qt Avacraft stainless steel saucepan with lid

I’ve been looking for several months for a good 3.5 qt stainless steel pan that would work on my glass top without scratching it. I FOUND IT! This pan is awesome, love it and… just remember this pan will heat a bit slower due to the bottom thickness so be patient and use lower heat as suggested. The handle is good too – so many other pans have slippery or slim handles which cause accidents – not this one. I’ll be looking at buying more from Avacraft for sure!

  74. smr

    Tough and good stainless steel

Good, perfect to boil milk as I wished

  75. Gtarez4Jesus

    Quality that speaks for itself.

A really good product I’ve used it a number times now and I’m very pleased with its performance and quality and it works excellent with electric induction burners/stove tops. Plus Avacraft has a a really good customer service in case you need to contact them with questions about their products

  77. Marinne Renton

    Great product!

We love your saucepans. I have used them for steaming and reheating and cooking and have had no problems at all. Do you make a roaster?

  78. LK

    A very good design

I love this saucepan. The 3.5 quart size is just what I need. The cover with 2 different size drain holes is a wonderful design. It makes draining pasta, etc. really easy and convenient.

    One of my best purchases!

I love to cook yet keep equipment at a minimal in the kitchen. This new edition from AVACRAFT is one of my best purchases! The size is perfect to cook up a batch of chili/soups/stews without having to lug and store a huge pot. It is neither heavy to manage and not at all flimsy to hold — it’s just the perfect weight to make for enjoyable use and clean-up. Highly recommended.

  80. Roseleen

    So far so good.

Only had the pot a few days and all is great so far.

  81. KHALID S.

Great Quality, but has some issues.

I originally rated this 5 Stars, but after a few uses I realized that it has some issues.
    1. If the Saucepan is about 80% full the liquid will spill down the exterior walls of the Saucepan and not in the cup where you want to pour.
    2. Also when it’s nearly full to it’s max capacity it will be very hard to hold it’s weight from the one handle it has. So it should either have another smaller handle on the opposite side so you can give it support with your other hand, or it should have a longer handle so you can grab it with two hands.
    3. The pouring lip should extend out further and should have deeper liquid channel to allow the liquid to pour from that specific pouring area and not pour down from right and left sides. This will give you more spill control and allow you to pour the liquid to a specific desired target, without it swinging sideways.

  82. Clyde N.

    Saucepan will last forever

Super construction, even heating, easy cleaning.

  83. Chris Bean

    I like this pan

I like this pan very much. The only problem with it is the handle is so round it is hard to drain water out and hold the lid . The handle needs to be a little bigger and less round

  84. Cara Rogers

    Avacraft sauce pan.

Just the right size I wanted. Good weight to it.The heavy bottom appears to give it a very even cooking surface.Overall a good pan

  85. John P. Downes

    Great stainless steel sauce pan

I love the built in measuring system. The pan is well made and I love using it.

    Nice size

I used this pot today for the first time. I like it. Washes well, heats good on my glass top. It is still nice and shinny after the use and wash. I got one smaller than this from a different company and there are rust spots on the bottom after I used it the first time. Not happy with that one for sure. I will try this AVACRAFT again in a different size too. I do like it so far. Also the draining feature is a really nice plus for this size pot. Thank you for your product.

    Great Product

We really love the Avacraft stainless steel saucepan. It really is made well. We have an electric stove and pots and pans with good bottoms work best, better heat distribution. The strainer is the feature that we were looking for and wound up with a great saucepan to boot. We had one from long ago and stopped using it when the coating started to erode. ICK Not a worry with this saucepan, no coating and better made. Easy wash up too. We call it our pasta/potato pan due to the straining feature, but it’s a great all around saucepan. Go for it, a great value.

    PERFECT PRODUCT!!

I love my new beautiful and solidly-built sauce pan. A pleasure to own!

    Good quality and reasonable price

I am happy with this purchase. I love to use saucepans because of covenience of long handle. But all others that I have had either too small or too expensive for its volume. This saucepan is easy to clean, has nonstick bottom, good looking, larger than average saucepans at a reasonable price. I highly recommend to anyone.

Incredibly thoughtful – best of the 30 I looked at

This really is a no brainer best in class pot.

I am in technology as a profession, and barely cook. That said, this “saucepan” pot has the best features of any I looked at. The built-in drain, air release, see through lid, and heat protection on the lid handle & pot handle are awesome.

It also has great little touches like the markers for numbers of cups on the side.

Nothing came close to the features of this, I looked at about 7 different “best saucepan” websites, and tons of options on amazon and other sites.

    This is the one.

  93. margieb

    Good Stuff

This is the 3rd one of these pots that we own, and we are only sorry we didn’t find them years ago! Not only are they lovely to look at, they are very easy to clean, heat evenly, the handles stay cool, AND there is a pouring spout on either side of the pot. That means that you can pour off liquids and not make a mess. Plus, these wonderful people have provided 2 small strainers of different sizes on the lids! It is wonderful for pouring water off of veggies s or pasta or whatever.
Do I sound pleased with these pots? YOU BET!

    Makes cooking pasta easy

Great product and have loved using it for pasta with the staining lid. The 3.5qt size is perfect for smaller dishes but also holds an entire box of pasta as well!

  95. B. Bryan

It is a great pot… and it is light in weight… and looks beautiful after every use!

We needed something in-between our large stew pot and our small 3 quart. This is perfect … for mashed potatoes, for large vegetables; love it!!

  96. Didiwi

    so far, easy clean up

have only used the pan a couple of times but it works well on my new induction cooktop.

  97. Don Mendelson

Not air tight. Water can evaporate quickly.

I use it mainly for vegetables.

    One happy daughter

I bought the pan for my daughter who lives in California to replace an old man that was falling apart but to which she was very attached. She loves your new pan and has thrown the old one out.

    great pan

This is a great pan. It will last forever. You can’t go wrong with Stainless steel. The size is perfect!

Sturdy Saucepan at a Good Price

Saucepan is heavy and seems quite sturdy. Cooked well the initial time I tried it. The 3 quart size is just what I needed.

  101. Jane R

    Great pan

This pan replaced one that was my Mother’s! I don’t know why I waited so long. I really like this pan. I like the measuring feature that is on the inside. The handle does not get hot and I like that the bottom is really thick. I don’t worry about burning things that have to cook a long time. I may buy some smaller pans like this – mine is 3.5 qt.

    Clean immediately

Do not let sit, wash by hand immediately after use b/c a dishwasher might make it worse. Otherwise it’s great, just a pain to clean.

  104. ChrisP

    Exactly right for my needs.

I’d needed a larger saucepan, and this one is perfect. Love the pouring spouts on both sides, and the strainer bits on the lid… one side has larger holes than the other.
    Good sturdy pan! Love it!

  105. Nan

    I needed this pan

This saucepan is perfect, it is deep and works well for hard boiled eggs to bulky beets. I love the clear lid, which an be used as a strainer. I is a great pan at a great price and I highly recommend it.

  106. Charlie

    Nice product

    Very easy to use

  107. tom wittman

    No more colanders.

I love having the holes in the lid for straining the water out when making mashed potatoes or pasta. Ingenious! Thank you.

  108. Bob Chapman

    Nice looking sauce pan

I bought it mainly to cook pasta, should be useful for many things,

  109. Stephen L. Guinn Jr.

    Its quality!

    Nothing to dislike.

  110. Sharlene Heinselman

The lid needs to be refit to the pan and I need one that fits my pan.

The pan design and use are good but the lid does not fit, it’s very loose. I have a smaller pan like this one and that lid fits as it should.

  111. Klondike

    Happy with purchase.

    Beautiful well made.

  112. Donna Ridge

    It’s fantastic!

This was a gift to a friend m. I don’t know if she has used it yet. She was very happy with it. She already had a smaller pot with the strainer. She said she loved the size and the glass lid so she can see the water getting ready to boil. Fantastic was her word

  113. UpNorthNanna

    Scratches on bottom

Generally speaking, I am satisfied with this pot. It’s a good size for larger recipes, and I like the glass top and the handle does stay cool. But when I washed it, I noticed scratches on the bottom. I could see the pattern of the spoon I used to stir the contents of the pot. It’s a shame…..it’s a very attractive item, and after one use, it’s lost its new look. It wouldn’t be so bad, but the description for this product actually states that it doesn’t scratch.

This is a very nice saucepan. Well made, not too heavy. Handle stays cool. Food does not stick if you follow recommendations on how to use. Easy to clean. A+ customer service. Highly recommend

    Superior Quality

Sleek, well made, even distribution of heat when cooking. These are the best!

  117. Jacqueline C, Gautreau

    Great pan!!!!!

I love the pan, but it’s too heavy, I am going to give it to my niece….I wrote you a note, last week about the pan, I am still looking for a 3.5 qt. pan, stainless steel, but on a lighter side, if you have any just let me know. Thanks again. Jacqueline Gautreau

  118. Aurora

    As expected

I’ve only owned it for a few weeks, but so far, it performs exactly as I expect a stainless pot to perform. Arrived as expected and works great.

  119. Lisa G.

    Built-in strainer!

    Very pleased.

My go to pots and pans

There are so many pots and pans about these days! We have purchased so many but we can say that we will be using avacraft from now on! We got our products and the first night we cooked with them and then got rid of all other pots and pans we had! Being able to drain water from foods has been so hard with many other saucepans but the drain on the pot makes it so EASY!! No hassle and even my fiancé was like wow when he used it! We bought all sizes and the large pan and we love them! For anyone starting their kitchen collection, moving into a new home or for wedding registries these pots are a must have! I’ve been recommending them to family and friends and I’m hoping they too will purchase! ❤️ I’m also loving their Instagram handle where they give recipes! An awesome business with an amazing product! Thank you!!!

  121. Namvet71

Beautiful finish, perfect function at an affordable price. Great Value!

Excellent saucepan and an amazing value. Fit and finish easily compare to high end without the price. Well balanced, easy to use, even with arthritic hands. Even heat distribution; no hot spots.
This is now my go-to plan!

  122. Jamie Lee

    Heavy!!

    Great for making candy!

  123. MD2015

    Great purchase!

My only thing I have wondered about is how long the measurements will remain visible on inside of the pan. I really love that feature but will not be discouraged from future purchases if it scrubs off. Very sturdy, well made and will look at this brand for future cookware purchases. All in all; would recommend!!

  124. Carol H.

Best ss pots I’ve ever owned.

used farberware for most of my life (72 years old) and avacraft are so much nicer; no comparison.

  125. P. Pappas

    Nice Saucepan

Overall I really like this saucepan. I would highly recommend it.

  126. MJR Denver

    Nice, large saucepan

I love the pour spouts built into this pan and lid. It’s solid and easy to clean. I bought it mostly to use for boiling up pasta, but find I reach for it for many other tasks. The handle on the lid is coated, so it’s not too hot to touch when using it to strain food.

  127. Gary R Parker

    Good Buy

One of the best stainless steel pans I have used. And, I bought the 3.5 qt. after using the 1.5qt. The 3.5 qt. is another winner. I would recommend Avacraft to anyone wishing to have a very good cooking tool.

  128. Terry , Punta Gorda, FL

    Why the spots?

Now that I have used the pan tell me why after I used it and cleaned it there were spots on the inside of the bottom of the pan. I was already to order another size pan but I will wait for your answer.

  129. Terks

    Love the thoughtful design

This is a great pan for the money! I’d take it over my All-Clad any day. Cooks well, handles well. The pour spouts and glass cover with two different sized built-in strainers is genius. And why don’t all pans have internal volume markings? Couldn’t be happier with this pan!

  130. Susie Betts

    Perfect 3 quart saucepan.

Love this perfect pot! A dream to cook with, to wash well, and to look beautiful.

  131. Latman

    Love the strainer feature.

It’s worked great so far. Just have to be careful to have the heat right or it will make oatmeal or pasta will stick.

  132. Lolita

    My new favorite pot!

Perfect size for a main dish in a small family…or a side in a larger family. Love the measurement guide, the sturdiness, stay cool handle…and the BEST is the ability to strain without dirtying another piece to wash. Heat disbursing bottom a big plus also. LOVE THIS POT.

  133. luvtoshop

    Love this pot

I love the built in drain feature.

  134. Val

    It’s bigger than I thought

I have only used it a couple of times, and so far it has worked as expected. I was disappointed when I opened the box, and saw it was a three and a HALF quart pan. I was intending to buy a three quart pan, but I decided to keep it, and I really like it so far.

  135. g

    Good pan

the pan was as described and has worked well for me. Especially like that, it can be washed in the dishwasher with no discoloration.

  136. B F

    Very nice cookware

I am very pleased with the saucepan I purchased a few weeks ago. It is very sturdy and heats evenly while the handle remains cool, I really like the ability to drain from the pot without needing a separate colander.

I’ve often spent much more on cookware buying such brands is All-Clad, which I think is great, but there is no need to spend so much when there are products out there like this.

    A very good purchase

  137. Cindy

    High quality cookware

Works great and the seller provides excellent instructions for use so food doesn’t stick. It’s super heavy gauge stainless which is good for cooking but makes it heavy when filled with liquid.

  138. Kristin

    Perfect pan!!

Best pan ever!! From boiling eggs to potatoes! Love, love, love this pan!! And the lid is fantastic!! ❤❤❤

  139. Birdalooo

Can be used with induction stovetop

Bought for use with our induction stovetop and even though only been about a month, we’re pretty happy with our choice.

  140. Jeromie Jackson

    Solid product

I was happy to feel how dense and sturdy the set it. The built in straining feature is nice. Solid piece to add to my set. Couldn’t be happier.

  141. By Necessity DC

    Good size and weight.

Nice that it has a pouring feature.

  142. nigel

    Great value

It is a nice size pot and looks great
    Highly recommended!!

  143. J. Tierney

    I love this pan!

I ordered the 3.5 quart pan because I wanted something large enough for pasta for two, without having to bring out the big pasta pot. The drain in the lid was a really handy feature! The pan bottom is very heavy and the heat distribution is great. I like the glass lid and the handle is insulated. All around a great, well thought out pot and one I will order another size soon.

  144. mayorguy

    Does what it should

A beautifully crafted pan that works like it is supposed to. Quick and even heat distribution, solid and well made.
The strainer lid is a great feature–I do a lot of pasta for two and this feature saves me having to wash a colander.
As good as–and maybe better than!!–my expensive stuff.

  145. Kathy in Maryland

    Great pan!!!

This is a great pan! It is beautiful, it feels so solid and sturdy. It is very well made, and I absolutely love it!!!

  146. Bubbah

    Its ok

It pretty, I bought it because it said it was induction compatable. It is but it is not FOR an induction plate. So I have to have it at full power to boil water. It heats up slower than my other pans and does not seem to get quite as hot.

It is pretty. I like the markings on the inside (shows how much liquid is in the pot). For being stainless steel it is pretty thin. Haven’t tried in on my conventional stove yet.

    Over all, its ok.

  147. BJ

    Great quality!

    Perfection!! Excellent quality! Love it!!

  148. Facundo Vigliecca

    Almost perfect!

Very good piece. The only detail I find within its perfection, the diameter of the cap is to my liking a little smaller than it should be, leaving a little too loose. But that looking for the 10/10, highly recommended.

  149. Doreen B.

    Love these sauce pans.

They are the perfect size of a two person family. Very nice looking cookware, far superior than Teflon.

  150. Trish

    Great product

If I had a complaint, it would be that the pot is heavier that expected. Overall, a good purchase.

  151. Carole Eshenbaugh

    Good buy

I bought this pan/pot as I have an induction cook plate. My cuizenart pans would not work. Looking at so many pans, this pan caught my eye. I have only used it once on the induction, but it is everything it is suppose to be. I was able To use it once on my electric glass top stove. Worked beautifully. I like this pot so much, I will buy others from this company. Oh price was good to, handle did not get hot and easy to clean.

  152. Kurt Mason

Good size sauce pan with strainer lid

I’ve only used this pot twice. I made pasta in it and the lid makes it easy to strain. The heat distribution seems good. The pasta did leave some residue on the bottom of the sauce pan that was not removed with scrubbing and cleaning with soap and hot water. I’m not a freak about a perfectly spotless pan, but this seems to be an issue for other people. I will happily continue to use the pan. It seems quality, but I can’t really speak to the longevity of it since I’ve only had it for a week and used it twice. I like the size. I like the handle on the lid that has black insulation on it so I don’t burn my hand when I take off the lid. Even though the lid has a small release hole for pressure, it still boiled over when I left the lid on the boiling pasta. I always tell my husband “rice- lid, pasta- no lid.” I guess that is true for this sauce pan too.

  153. Minchie

    Sturdy pan

Love this pan so glad I found it online.

  154. Bo Bipidty

    Quality product!

Great design! Love the handle of the pot & lid both stay cool & food can be drained with the lid on and no need for a colander! Pot is much heavier than my same size Revere ware for example, and heats very evenly & quickly. As my other pots and pans need replacing I will be returning only for this brand.

  155. LT

    My New Favorite Pot!

My “Peggy Pot”, an old pot from my mother in law, lost its handle finally. It cooked the food quickly and evenly, and the food always came out tasty good. I found this Ava pot and it had the same stainless steel with aluminum in the bottom. It’s like the superchief of peggy pots! It is gorgeous, strong, and cooks up a storm! Great for sauce, gravy, pasta fagioli too! I just rinse, soak with soap, and it cleans up easy! They make a good product – would like more!

  156. Valentina-Diana

    Exactly what I was expecting!

It’s a very good saucepan, exactly as described, I used it already several times without any issue!

  157. Eliot Sullivan

    Great saucepan deep walls

Everything is perfect about this pan, exactly as intended. I think the only thing that would have been cool, is if it had small spouts on either side, great for draining and sifting. Otherwise great product.

  158. bani kaur
