Exactly What I Wanted
Bought the 3.5 qt size. Have used it a couple of times; last time for pasta. Seems well made, the size fills a gap in our other pans, the strainer feature is nice and it is easy to clean. All in all, I’m very satisfied so far.

3.5 all clad pan
Bought mainly for candy but have used it to make spaghetti sauce. Heavy and sturdy construction. I did notice that the bottom is not quite flat (as some of the other reviews stated). Not really an issue for my gas stove. I haven’t had a chance to use it for candy yet. If I continue to like it I will buy the two smaller sizes to replace my 40+ year old pans. My old ones stack very nicely. These will not do so and will take up more storage space than my current set.

Beautiful and beautifully made
I had to replace ny large sauce pan and selected this one. I am very impressed with this pan and look forward to years of use. Wish it had the helper handle, but I’ll adjust.

Just the size and durability that I wanted in this pan. Easy to clean.

Very happy with this pan !
Avacraft has included ever thing one could want in this beautiful 3.5 quart pan! I am absolutely thrilled with it even though I accidently caused a few scratches in it mashing some potatoes with my metal masher, bummer ! I have ordered a silicone coated potato masher to prevent that from happening again. I used medium low heat which cooked the potatoes evenly and held the heat steady, not to hard and no boil over. It was very easy to drain off the extra water through the lid drain holes. Clean up was very easy as well.

Quality product
While I purchased this item just before Christmas I used it for the first time today (1/11/20). Instead of using my cast iron Dutch oven I used this utensil instead to make chili. Normally I would brown off my ground beef in a skillet and then transfer that to the cast iron pot. This time I used my avacraft pot for everything. After browning and rendering the grease from the meat I was able to easily drain off the fat and after doing so adding all the rest of the ingredients was a snap and the cooking process was completely an uncomplicated process. The handle stayed cool throughout the cooking process which made the use of a hotpad unnecessary. Heat transfer and retention was on par with the cast iron Dutch oven. The only criticism (and a minor one at that) I had was the pot seemed a little heavy while I was draining off the fat into my collection can but that was more of a leverage issue than anything else. This piece of cookware exceeded all my expectations. The price I paid was excellent and the order to delivery time was way better than I expected. I recommend this product highly.

Poor Quality
After one use of heating up soup on lower than medium heat, this is what the bottom of the pan looks like. I washed it with Dawn and sponge after use. I have a old RevereWare stainless saucepan from the 1980’s that I have NEVER seen this with.
Cheap Stainless Steel. Save your money and look elsewhere.

The Best pan I’ve ever owned
Wow! I cannot say enough good about my new 3 1/2 quart saucepan. It is amazing. Perfect heat distribution, easy to clean, dishwasher safe, gorgeous look and the straining sides are wonderful! Now I wish I had all of my pans like this. I thought my other pans were wonderful, but this surpasses any I’ve ever cooked with!

Quality made and works on induction stove
Bought primarily because of stainer lid style in a stainless steel sausepan for induction stovetop. Seems heavy, but that is the sign of quality craftsmanship.

I love this pan
I don’t usually get emotional about cookware ….but this pan is so great. Right out of the box I felt the difference. Its very well made and has a bright finish that does not fade (so far) and I have washed it several times . I am very happy with the way food cooks in this pan and know it will be in my kitchen for a very long time.

Draining issue
I like the pot but straining is not safe. The handle is too short and the lid need to have locking system so it can be safe for draining. I was going to buy a second one but with the safety issue i am not.

Great value in it’s price range.
I’m quite pleased with the heat distribution of this Avacraft tri-ply 3.5 quart pan with glass lid. Having a glass lid is important to me because I want to see “what’s going on” without taking the lid off.
Pro: Making Pasta, Soup, “Old Fashioned” Fudge, Pudding and I really like the measuring lines in the inside of the pan.
Con: While I definitely can and do make rice in it, it’s challenging to make rice exactly the same way every time, a LOT of steam escapes because the lid fits so loosely.
Still, I wanted a 3 to 3.5 quart tri-ply pan with a glass lid in that wasn’t too expensive and this is one of the very few that met those criteria.
Cleaning is pretty easy. A metal whisk will scratch the bottom, I probably only noticed that because the finish is so nice. I like the way the handle looks, but something about the way it’s shaped is off a bit in use, I find myself needing to “choke up” on the handle sometimes, a little too close to the hot part.

Wellmade
Just got them so cannot speak to longevity but they are well made and conduct heat very well. Appreciate the details of measurement inside pots and pouring spouts as well as straining ability of lids. Lightweight and comfortable to use.

Beautiful sauce pan. Very well made. I did not cook with it because it was extremely heavy. With only one handle and the pot empty, it was too heavy for my arthritic hands. It could use a small handle on the other side. Sadly, I returned it. However, I did keep the 5qt Dutch oven which is manageable with 2 handles.

Will have this for a long long time! Extremely well-built! Not disappointed in anyway!
We use this pot for boiling milk and it is quite grand! We bought the try ply all the way around, largest size they have! Not a cheap pot but well worth the investment! It’s pourspout{s} make a nice waterfall pour with lots of control! Only one drop might run down the side at the very end of the pour as you’re leveling the pot out! The clear lid is epic for the purpose! So you can see before it over boils! Simple with no unnecessary chemicals! Non-toxic! Just what I was looking for! Will have this for a long long time! Extremely well-built! Not disappointed in anyway!

Will be one of your favorites
Beautifully crafted pan and excellent performer. Heats fast and evenly, lays flat on my ceramic cooktop, handle stays cool, cleans up easily. The attention to detail on the curved lip, spouts, inside measurement markings, and glass lid with drain holes make for an attractive package. It’s become my go to saucepan.

Great pot, great price
I’ve had this pot for a month or so now and I’m loving it. My husband was looking at much pricier competitors but I intend to order more of this brand in the future. I was hesitant to go to stainless steel since I had only used non stick but I’m very happy so far.

Top notch craftsmanship
It’s an amazing pan but I’m finding it’s too heavy for me. Once I fill it with water, I struggle to get it to the stove. I’m an older retired woman who doesn’t have much hand/arm strength. If the kettle had an extra handle on the opposite side it would be easier for me to manage.

Safest handle
Although I only received the saucepan on Saturday, I have used it three times! It has quickly become my favorite. I absolutely love that the handle doesn’t hold the heat. I’m very bad about grabbing a handle without thinking, so no burn!! Cleaning was a breeze too! Question or rather statement, can the company offer all the sizes and I need them now?!?!

Good if you have a strong wrist
It is sturdy and heavy, especially full of water. The holes are helpful when pouring off liquid but may still require three hands. Note, the smaller holes will still pass angel hair pasta.

AVACRAFT Stainless Steel Saucepan with Glass Strainer Lid Tri-Ply Full body 3.5QT
This is a very sturdy, well-made saucepan that I would highly recommend. I love the strainer in the lid option. It works very well and makes cooking a little easier. This is a heavy saucepan, it is not lightweight. It will last a lifetime. It’s very well made and seems to have very even cooking. I will probably buy other pieces from this company.

Still love them!
We’ve been using the tri ply whole pan stainless 8” frying pan and and the 3 1/2 qt pot now for several weeks. After cooking brats in the frying pan we were left with a brown stuck on coating. I let it soak while we ate and had to use a scrubbie but it all came off with just a little effort. This is not meant to be a non stick pan and if you don’t care about flecks of non stick coating eventually coming off into your food buy a non stick pan, but if you care about clean even heat and a quality pan that lasts this is it. Love love love the 3 1/2 qt pot. The 2 different size straining holes in the lid is genius. No more using a strainer or worse having half the spaghetti or potatoes fall into the sink while trying to hold a cover open just enough to drain out the water. The best part is I didn’t have to spend $150 a pan for high end quality pans.

Just as good as premium brands
I don’t get paid for any reviews so this is totally an unbiased review. I really like this pot. Really, really. I decided to give this a try and not pay extra for a brand name item. I’m glad I did. This is high quality, sturdy, easy to clean, nice features, comfortable and heats very quickly and evenly with induction. I can’t think of anything bad. I almost want to buy another one but I don’t need it.

Happy with my new pan
I needed a bigger pan and like the ability to drain off liquid directly from the pan with the slotted sides on the lid. I have a flat top stove and it works well, Easy to clean and no coating to start peeling off down the road which is why I got ride of my last pan. This is a nice size, the amount labels on the inside of the pan are helpful.

A solid steel pot
Sometimes I wonder what people on here do to destroy their cookware. Maybe don’t throw this in your super hot oven, maybe don’t burn food to the bottom of it and leave it out overnight. This is a great stainless steel pot. The measuring lines (in cups) on the inside are super helpful. The lid works great to drain water and leave the contents intact.
I primarily use it at high heat to boil pasta, make rice, and have done risotto a few times too. Most other things I use non-stick pans because I know I’m not skilled enough to use a steel pot for everything. The all metal handle will get hot if you’re using it on the stove with the oven on, this shouldn’t be a surprise to you. Use oven mitts (ideally silicone ones). Oh and do yourself a favor and pay the extra 10 bucks to get the Tri-Ply Full Body.
